OUR HISTORY
Savour de isle resides on the hill top of Craig Hall, Trace #2 Moriah, Tobago, located 18mins (9. 1 km) from Scarborough and 40 mins (22.7km) from the main ridge forest reserve which is known for its chilly nights and windy afternoons. In the early days Moriah had a rich history for businesses and culture, sugar cane milling with the use of hydroelectric dam, livestock and crop farming on estates. A phenomenal site to visit is our beautiful highlands waterfalls and its tranquil hilly green surrounding, Moriah is also known for its popular traditional Ole Time Wedding heritage festival held in July each year.
Savour de isle which was started with three family members had its cloudy beginning, a pathway with dreams, determination and aspiration. Some qualities that were embedded by being expose to gardening at a young age, by my grandmother who tailored me and had always encouraged me as she plant on a daily and will religiously sell her produces every week at the market, also admirable industrious, skilled and talented qualities of my mother who have always given me all her support to venture in my wild and creative ideas.
An abstract from many other business ideas and ventures. The creation of traditional homemade milk drinks started from our home kitchen to construction site then to the Scarborough market on a Saturday. Savour de isle is now one of most popular punches in Tobago. We currently manufacture over 400 –500 bottles per day and serve over 100 hundred outlets in Tobago with a growing presence in Trinidad.
